Review: An Intervention – Art Doesn’t Need White Walls!

Sunday, July 25th, 2010

Past Sunday artists and galleries staged an unusual show at 120 Moganshan Lu. Konstantin Bayer initiated the 24 hour art project and invited galleries and artists from Shanghai to participate. ‘Moganshan – Re-Used’ was located right next to the gallery district M50. The area of 120 Moganshan Lu used to be a typical chinese neighborhood with small lane houses meandered in narrow alleys. Now it has been destroyed. Most residents left the place and a view relicts remain of the former inhabitants. A daily scene in Shanghai.
